Reddit Extract

Simple program to download recent messages posted to a subreddit as a csv.

REQUIREMENTS

• Python 3.5+
• Comfortable with terminal environments, this is intended to be an automated tool.

INSTALL

pip3 install -r requirements.txt
rename example.settings.yaml to settings.yaml and update with your credentials\

USAGE

extract.py subreddit_name /path/to/save/csv/

EXAMPLE SAS CODE

Included is a peice of SAS code called "create_sas_dataset.sas" that you can use as an example of how to use this program to import the data into a SAS dataset.
